Illustrative SellBetter report

See what a useful fix looks like before signup.

This illustrative report shows the structure SellBetter uses for a priority finding: source check, affected page, captured evidence, proposed change, confidence, verification method, and monitoring state.

This is a product example—not a customer result or revenue claim.
01
The finding

Start with the observed page and value.

A recommendation is tied to its original automated check and affected page. The evidence may be a screenshot, DOM excerpt, or resource value. Confidence communicates how directly that evidence supports the finding.

  • Check identifier and category
  • Affected storefront page or Shopify resource
  • Captured screenshot or DOM/value excerpt
  • Confidence level and evidence timestamp
02
The change

Make the proposed action exact enough to review.

The report provides step-by-step guidance or an exact before-and-after preview. Guarded automation also names the required permission, risk level, affected resource, and undo behavior before the merchant approves anything.

  • Current and proposed values displayed together
  • Effort and impact expressed as honest bands
  • Required Shopify scope shown before authorization
  • Approval boundary matched to the risk of the change
03
The proof

Close the task only after the live check passes.

The verification run references the original task and check. It records the outcome and new evidence, then updates the task only when the authoritative result passes. Monitoring can revisit that verified condition later.

  • Targeted verification run and timestamp
  • Passing or failing outcome from the relevant evaluator
  • Before-and-after evidence retained together
  • Verified timestamp and future monitoring state
What the report preserves

One chain of evidence from audit to monitoring.

The report is designed to answer what was found, why it was prioritized, what changed, and whether that change still passes—without mixing legacy scores or unsupported projections.

Questions, answered

Know exactly what happens next.

Clear limits, clear evidence, and no invented performance claims.

Is this sample based on a real merchant result?+

No. It is an illustrative product example that demonstrates report structure. It does not claim a customer outcome, conversion lift, or revenue result.

Will every finding contain a screenshot?+

Every fix includes evidence. Depending on the check, that evidence can be a screenshot, DOM excerpt, response value, or Shopify resource value.

Can I share a SellBetter report?+

Paid plans include reporting and history. Audit visibility remains private by default, and sharing is an explicit merchant choice.

What happens to reports created under the old scoring system?+

They remain available with a legacy label and are excluded from mixed scoring-history charts. Connected stores can receive a corrective scoring 2.1 audit.
